SECURITY OF CREDIT CARD DATA
• ProWearGear does not operate an on-website purchase of goods option.
• Customers do not enter their payment credit card information directly on the website.
• Once an order has been confirmed with the client, ProWearGear will email a scanned Credit Card Information Form to the client for completion of payment data; the client can scan or fax the completed form to ProWearGear.
• The payment data is used for a single transaction and shredded. This data is not stored nor retained by ProWearGear for future transaction.
• ProWearGear utilizes a third party payment management company to process credit card transactions. The company utilizes a process known as “tokenization” in order to securely process credit card transactions when clients provide their credit card data to ProWearGear. Tokenization is the replacement of sensitive data with a unique identifier that cannot be mathematically reversed. In this case, tokens take the place of sensitive credit card data. The token will retain the last four digits of the card as a means of accurately matching the token to the payment card owner. The remaining numbers are generated using proprietary tokenization algorithms.
